I have had so much trouble with my airshocks that I am ready to go to gas. Everytime I put air in it leaks right back out the valve. I replaced the valve and the tubing but keep running into the same problem. Any ideas?
Been down that same road before. Pulled them out and went gas. I can tell you first hand the car sits nicer and rides MUCH better. I was very happy with the decision in the end...
Valve core is probably bad, just take one from a spare wheel. You can remove it with a narrow flatblade screwdriver if you don't have a valve stem tool, just drop it alongside the valve core and turn.
Air shocks themselves are not a good idea for performance or handling. When joined by a common line, when cornering the outside goes down and pushes air to the inside, creating more body roll. Proper wheel/tire size, good springs and gas shocks are much better.

Thanks for all the input everyone. If I go to a gas shock how much lower will the car sit? I love how it sits when the back end is a little up, it's just a better feel for me.
It depends upon if the air shocks were installed to compensate for bad springs. The car should sit with the front end about 1/2" higher than the rear as designed. Jacking up the back reduces weight at the back and keeps you from getting the best launch. Let the air out, you'll see where it sits. Gas shocks are not designed to lift the body.

Not sure you can still get these for early F-Body but I put these on both my coupe and convertible years ago. Didn't really raise the rear, maybe 1/4" at best but they don't sag anymore either.
