Not sure Tom. I will have to pull paperwork when I get home to confirm. The previous owner had them installed just prior to me purchasing it. The covers I have are repros.
Does this pic help?

You could check with Paul Spotts at Spotts Performance. He would know if those rockers will fit under the stock valve cover, with or without a thicker gasket. I had the same question about my Comp Cam roller tips, which he answered for me. I heard a while ago that a taller version of the "stock" chrome valve cover was being made. I don't know if it ever came to happen.
Anyone need a set of these with locking nuts? I'm thinking of selling an extra set I have. They have less than 2 hours run time on them. If anyone is interested I'll get the exact details and pics. Just post here and I'll see it.
I can't believe this but they are gone! The heads are still sitting there on the bench but the rockers and nuts are gone. I'm sure glad they didn't take the heads too. They are the originals off my TA. WTF!!!!
It's got to be my frickin' neighbors. If you want to see cruel you wait till I catch him......... Last time he was in a trunk for 6 hours.... Time to get suited up.
Or you could send him down here w/ Martin (isn't that the @%#%) name that was messin' w/ Terry?) for the hunting (accident) trip. We still have muzzle loader season for the growing list of candidates!
But back on the subject...My poli-locs on BBC studs wouldn't fit under my stock covers till I added the second set of gaskets. Then no problem so they must be close. I'm running 9.17 pushrods and 1.65 rockers.
I have 1.65 Harland Sharps on mine with stock covers(No drip rails) and I have no problems... I've used 3 different set of covers and never had a problem as of yet? But with any combo like this it will be tight, with little room for error.
Another note. The Fel Pro RAIV vlv cvr gasts are thicker, so the cover sits alittle higher. Plus they seal better then the original rubber type. Dont have to torgue down the bolts as much.
Fel Pro makes a thicker than normal gasket that I used for my roller tipped rocker arms. Basicly same as doubling the gasket, but much less apt to have a leak. I can get you the part number, but they should be easy enough for a parts person to look up.
