Thanks for the translation, Jordan. I thought I was going to have to ask the neighbor kids what the he// you were saying!!!LOL Thanks everyone for the positive comments, it means alot to me.
looks great James, how long did you spend etching the glass? How deep in the glass did you go? When ever I get the rear glass back out of the bird again I may have to try that. Hey maybe you should give up the hammer and go into glass work LOL. Stephen

Stephen, after the stencil was made I spent maybe 3 hours of putting it into the glass. If you do it w/ the dremmel tool like I did then just go LIGHTLY. You'll easily be able to see the results & adjust from there. I was scared to death of breaking the glass, so not really any pressure, just let the tool do the work. If anyone else does this I suggest you practice on a piece of similar glass. I screwed up a few places until I got used to the feel of it. Nothing major, but it's not perfect.
An old dog learning new terms, it looks major sick. (You can bounce that one off the neighbor's kids if you need translation.)
I'll ask the same question as Stephen, but with a more important measure of time. How many ciggaretts did it take? I know, it's a hell of a lot more than you wish to discuss.
A working smoker (for non-smokers: working smoker means that there isn't any such thing as a ciggarette break.)myself, it's a serious problem trying to seperate the 2 actions. Both need to be done, and it's an act of effective time managment. I'm cleaning up the undercarriage of my car. I have 2 ashtrays set up so that whichever one is closest is the target. It doesn't matter whether I'm doing anything or not: I must smoke x-amount of butts a day. In fact, I probabaly have a tendancy to smoke more when doing things than when sitting around.
The thing I find amusing about folks who don't have a clue as to the addiction--they think that they do, but they don't--are the suggestions for quitting. For instance, I attended a smoking clinic. There, one of the suggestions was to do something so that you cannot smoke, such as shovel snow. The problem is that working smokers Nice suggestion, but the problem is that I have a smoke hanging out of my mouth while shoveling snow.
James, you give me hope. You show that one can have a wife, and still have such types of indoor projects.
Merv, dam close to a pack. Noticed the ashtray, did ya? Even @ work I have 1 hanging out of my mouth, hands free smoking. I've had that ability so long I can't recall. That's 1 (dis)advantage of construction work. As for the wife, I guess she let's me get away with alot more than some would. (but Honey, the glass HAS to be warm to do this!)lol
ever try driving a 4 spd with a broken foot? or better yet a 10 wheeler with a 10 spd spicer and smoke a cig and holding the cup of coffee because the truck bounces so hard the cup will never stay in the cup holder.
