I have a '67 firebird with a trim code number of 260z (which is parchment custom option vinyl.) My question is what color carpet should it have, what color armrests, and should it have the standard or deluxe door panels and seat covers. Some of the catalogs don't show parchment colored armrests. The plastic on the back of the front seats is painted tyrol blue. Is this correct? Also, i don't the door panels and have read about the pre-assembled panels having the top rail included. Is the top rail made out of fiberboard or is just vinyl to cover the top of the door. Thanks in advance.
hey c u the information from PHS states for custom int 260 seat trim is parchment front (and back). the door trim is a painted parchment upper ( above door panel), parchment delux (with molded arm rest)with black carpet on the bottom of door trim. floor carpet will be black also.
custom interior option include: * custom formed, foam padded vinyl door and quarter trim panel * molded full length front and rear armrests * instrument panel assist bar ( above glove box) * dual horms * deluxe sterring wheel * front and rear wheel opening moldings
the seat cover for the 67's are the same for standard and delux
if you decide to use the standard door panels (flat w/no molded arm rest) you can have the armrest insert recover with GM L-2300 vinyl. you should still be able the get this from a frabic wholesaler around you. it runs about 25.00 a yrd here in texas.
the plastic on the seatback should be parchment also. i dont know of anyone that sell it in the parchment color, only white and it is to bright. there is a vinyl dye that comes in a aerosol spray that i hve used and it work and look great. the part number is AV851 made by OER, most of the FB parts catolog have it for about 16-17 bucks.
the top rail for the door panels refer to the stainless steel rail that the top of the door panel inserts under.
