I have been thinking of putting a new firebird dash (2000ish) in my 68 firebird. I like the way custom stuff looks and i was wondering if anyone else has done this or if anyone has pictures of it. I dont want to go to the trouble of pulling my dash out and not liking the new one. All suggestions are welcome. Thanks

I can get you the complete assembly for $150 from a friend.
I have a 99 and can take measurements. But to be honest, that is one heck of a mod. The forwerd edge of the dash where the defroster is is 18" wide, the depth and width would in essence leave you no legroom.
It would look great if you did a lot of shaving and cutting, but I dont think it would fit.
Would rather buy and install an LS1 motor in my 67 rather than spend $150 and 10 boxes of 4 letter words.

have seen it done because the measurments are close and it seemed to look fine, but last time i saw that pic was a year ago and it is nowhere to be found. Only thing i may have to shave i think it the uper defrost part of the dash. I may be interested in the dash if i deside to do this. What is included with it.
