I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say Hi. I've got a 1969 convertible, silver, black int., black top, TA rear wing, 400 hood (installing hood tach in Spring). I've got a crate 350 (yeah, I know...) and a built TH-350 with a 4.10 gear.
I'll get pics as soon as I can. I'm in Ferndale, MI about a stones throw from Woodward.
Thanks, I'm a real gearhead except for the fact I'm all thumbs when it comes to tools. My Dad and GrandPa were engineers at Ford and GM respectively, however, those genes didn't get passed on to me. I try though...

Hoy M1, glad to have ya aboard. Before instaling that tach, get the correct location template to cut the hole from the FAQs. The PO that had my car used a GTO template for mine, so it's location isn't anywhere near where it should be.
Not a Pontiac crate, unfortunately. Its a new 330 horse chevy crate. It was in the car when I bought it. Runs great with the built TH-350 behind it. Its an honest 330, I had it dynoed over at Motor City Steel in Commerce, MI before I stored it for winter.
I'm looking for a 69 400 block to have built as soon as I can.
Since you're up in the Maize & Blue you have a good chance of finding a correct code block. I have a YT code in my convertible and would like to find a WZ block. But the WZ block is as rare as hens tooth to find in good condition. I do have a WT block that will be a long term project. So if ya want to wait...
