If I remember correctly (the other guys will let you know if I am not) the 455 block should be drilled for both early and late motor mounts. The mounts should be the same, just need to use the correct holes on the block.
My understanding is that you should only have to use the block adapters when putting an early block into a late model car. Please correct me if I have it backwards.
Stock mounts should work just fine for you. BUt if you want a little stronger mount try the poly mounts from prothane. I believe they have poly mounts for the 67-69 birds.

I got mine at O'Reilly. The box said solid mounts, but they are just oem mounts. If you are really concerned about the torque separating the mount it's easy to make a "solid" mount out of a regular mount if you have any welding/fabrication experience.
I know quite a few guys with stock mounts that race, drive them all the time, and run them hard!
I agree, I wouldn't think you'd have any problems with the stock mount... even up to 600 HP. And you'll have a little less vibration with stock mounts... Just my thoughts on it.
