i have a 69 350 car. original hood is to beat up,i bought a spare but it had rust. now i can't decide on weather to get a 350. 400. or a ta hood, this place up here says they have a nos 69 flat hood(but who knows they could be smoking crack)for 350$ imo it is probably a reproduction. do they still make the 350 stock hood? i've seen 400 hoods for around 400$ and i have a 400 style wing to go with it. or the ta hood for 850$ with the metal frame. terry has a t/a kit he sells for 1300$ that might be cool. i know theres lots of clones out there but i have never seen one around the kansascity area ever...and i have only seen one real t/a down south and it just stays in the guys garage. so go stock 350? 400? or t/a?
i like metal but the t/a hood would be ok.
i like some of the guys cars on here with the 400 hood and t/a spoiler.
btw when was the last time you guys seen a 69 t/a or firebird or 67-68 bird besides your own on the road? it's been along time here i would say 5 years. i think rust got alot of them..
i dont seen any on the road here in north iowa i know a guy who has an awsome 69 but he mostly trailers it to shows there is alot of earily camaros on the road around this area

I've got a 400 hood with the T/A wing spoiler. You can check it on car domain to see what you think. I think it looks pretty good. However, I'm going to go with the repro T/A hood with the metal frame before the end of the year. It's that Trans Am mystique I'm looking for.
well if it is a nos 350 hood i will get it...they said nos...but i thought you could buy one years ago. just like the 69 tailpanel everyone says they never made a repo but i seen them 6-8 yearsw ago for 299$ they bodyshop guy remembers them also but he said they were 199$ his cost...
