I was just wondering where the best place to buy a front end rebuild kit? This is for my 69,and should I buy the original or polyurethane set.I dont know if I can buy the whole kit in polyurethane though?
I wound up buying all of the suspension pieces locally and poly bushings from Summit, wound up being cheaper and American made. As far as bushing go, you will find people that swear by one or the other. Depends on your interests. Another source for discussion on this is the camaro tech site and the FAQ's on this site.
Performance Years has a pontiac only discussion board that gets a lot of traffic and has a ton of talk about this topic.
there is a company called performance suspension techology ( PST ). they have a web site at WWW.p-s-t.com , they have kits for all cars and good prices. i have there polygraphite kit on my 69 its works good no squeaks. you can order a catalog form the web site
Better than that, one of PST's rivals is right here in Phoenix (PSC). You could order Energy Suspension parts directly from Jerry and the gang through Will Call and save the shipping cost. Many have found that PSC's customer service is better than PST, too.
I would use somebody else though if you have to have the parts shipped as you will get nailed for sales tax. Unless they're having a sale.
