I trying to install the quarter panel louvers on a 68 convertible. It's almost impossible to do with the window mechanism installed. Any tips on removing the glass and mechanism?

Don't drop the glass !, Ha, Ha.
Seriously, I am stripping my bird and just recently pulled them out. First the rear seat, then the side panels. then remove all the nuts, and bolts from the mechs. Pull the glass out the top. It will be alittle tight at the roller if the window trim molding is there but it will come out. The mechs will come out of the opening in the interior body panel. Most important, remember how it came apart. I may need help from you after several years of my car sitting stripped. :p Good Luck !
