That corner gusset looks like it's on the wrong angle. The two bolts that go to the fender, they are supposed to be at a 90 degree. I can't get the 'big picture'.

I see what Jim's saying on the angle but I'm not sure of your question.

That shot helps JimC.. This gap in the "fender to core support" bracket (check the link below) was freakin' me out... It looks OK though, once I get all the parts mocked up it should "shake" together.. Thanks alot you guys!..

Perhaps this one helps, too. Gives you some kind of "overview". If necessary I could email it as a high res pic... Next time should dust off my engine compartment before taking pics

Yeah, that looks good Thomas. It looks like they taper down to contact the upper, front bumper shroud. I can see for sure I don't have those center shrouds that are on iether side of the hood latch assembly (with the X stamped in them)... I'll roll the car out and take a decent pic of the mock up tomorrow. I can't wait to get the front clip on this car!!..

Yep, that's mine Thomas but I have since restored it quite a bit as you can see from the earlier photo that I posted.

That's how I feel every time I see a Concours perfect '68 that's here in the Chicago area or read many of the posts here. O a post of Davids yesterday got me thinking of something I need to redo on mine that I did a poor job on 20 years ago.
