Does anyone know if the 1969 HO cars had side stripes like the 1968 models???? I thought that was a nice addition in 1968 but haven't seen any 1969 cars with them.On the 1969 firebird page they listed the 1969 HO Stripes there so was curious if anyone knows for sure.

I was under the impression that they did not have the H.O. stripes available in 69? Or perhaps they were down to a special order? Not sure...

Gary, Glenn, or Terry the 69 experts should know for sure? Anyone else? Now I have to know!

Brett - 67 Drop Top 455!

The stripes for '68 were part of the 350 HO option. They were deleted from the package for '69.

Mine has been repainted, sorry I could not help.

I believe the option list on here is code L76 that list the HO stripes for ' 69 but have never seen them on a ' 69. Just thought it was a great way of marking an HO car.In ' 68 I beleive was was 350HO on the stripes and in '67 it the 326HO.

Well, in 67 there was the 326 H.O., and the 400 H.O. and the Sprint 6 all available with or with out the stripes (and H.O. designation)

For 68 there was the 350 H.O. and the 400 H.O. and the Sprint 6 all available with or with out the stripes (and H.O. designation)

And in 69 much the same, but... as I mentioned, to this point, I don't think I've ever heard of (or seen) a 69 with the stripes?

I know there are a few guy's out there who know... so I'll aske them soon, and see if we can find out for sure!

I have a 67 326 HO that was repainted without the stripes before I bought it. Does anyone have a picture of what the stripes look like? Thanks

(Black with Red H.O. stripes) you can order them from most vendors like Ames, Classic, NPD etc... or check my reply under the topic of the other H.O. stripe questions and email Gary Patrick, He'll give you the info you need, and can get you hooked up with a set if you want.
