Bench building the nose and have the filler pieces on the side. they appear to have a strap on the bottom that I assume screws in to the lower valence. Do these filler get put in first, then the nose, then the valance. Can you get in to screw them down after the fact?

Anyone have a good way to refresh the filler pieces? They are in great shape but a litle hard and dull.

If I recall, I used some mineral spirits and then Armorall. You can fully attach them to the nose assembly before putting it on the body.

Now that makes more sense. I was having some problems figuring out where they attach.

I'll try the mineral spirits as well.

Nope, as I noted above they are a bit dull and hard. I did what Jim suggested and they cleaned up nice. I understand the repops are PRICEY!
