What does the tempature for a 67 326 engine usally run, and what is considered high, mine seems to be running about 210 does this seem high or is this normal for this engine?

Are you going by the stock gauges? Or aftermarket (and maybe more accurate) gauges?
Typically any of the motors should be between 180 - 210, with 190 being about the norm. Well, in a perfect world anyway.
Make sure first off that the system is in good order. Coolant, Belts, hoses, water pump, radiator etc...
Then make sure your carb is set ok. Running rich and or especially lean will have a big effect on temps. And timing will also have a large effect.
Some things to try are a new thermostat (if and when replacing, drill 2 small 1/8" holes in the plate to let traped air escape)
Make sure you don't have any air in the system, as that will cause hot spots.
Then you can try Water Weter or some of the additives that help cooling.
All this can be done step by step, and over time. Try one thing, see if it helps. Then move on to the next thing etc... It will all only help, but this way you can eliminate the problem, and future problems!

One thing I would add to Brett's advice is that a lower setting thermostat will not always make an engine run cooler. Half the battle in keeping the engine running cool it to get the water to sit in the radiator long enough to get rid of all that heat. How well the radiator does that depends a lot on its condition.
Try running a 190 degree thermostat. If you already are using a 190, you could try a 185 as well as a 195. If the 195 brings the temerature down, the problem is more likely to be in the radiator rather than within the engine. If the temp stays high with the higher rated t'stat - or climbs higher - look for trapped air, restricted coolant passages, and/or just generally unhealthy coolant condition. (A 50/50 mix is a good place to start.)
After that, it will be time to look into the carb jetting and timing settings.

Hi Lance Iv'e got a 67 326. When i got the car i had a few small rad leaks so I took it in to be rebuilt. The origional rad in these cars have a 2 core rad. The guy who was doing the work asked me if I would be doing a lot of idleing arond in the summer and if so he recamended putting a extra core in it for about $90.00 more. I had it done and put a new thermastat in it "190" and also a set of chrome hasting guages under the dash. Iv'e driven it around and the hottest it ever gets is 180 - 190. The only difference in the rad is it's a little wider but fits with no problem. I hope this helps Jag
