My car did not have door panels on it when I bought it. the part that rolls the window up and down was still in the door, but the door handles where not on. I found both standard and custom door handles in a box of parts that came with the car. I am just trying to figure out if I should get standard or custom door panels, but I don't know how to tell which window crank I have, or if it even matters. Thanks
Scott, use the body tag analyzer here at FGF, it will tell you which interior your car came with. The standard interior pieces are a little less expensive than the custom naturally.
I measured the 68 window cranks at 8" inward and 9.5" from the top. I also measured another bare door that I had that was supposedly a 67 door. So the spare bare door must be a 68 as well.
My 67 has power windows.

It's not the location that is the sticking point it is the length of the neck for the handle. The deluxe have longer necks on the regulators for the thicker panels. You are going to need to measure how far the neck sticks out to decide which panels to buy.
