What is the best all around car cover available for my 67?
The car is usually garaged, but I left her outside the other day with my cover on and the morning dew had soaked the cover and trapped moisture underneath. What are you all using?
Believe it or not, I just found some great quality Car Covers at Costco. They are thick, high quality, and water repelant. They have built in straps that clip on to keep the cover nice and snug. Vert nice, fitted covers... and the best part is, they are only $29.99!
Same fit, finish and material as the California Car Cover I have for my bug that cost MUCH more!
I went back and bought 3 more for some of the other cars too!
I have the Evolution, and compared it to the Noah...they are similar in weight and appearance, but I believe the Noah is better suited for heavy exposure. My car is garaged, so the cover is more a scratch protector than a weather/bug protector.

Call California Car Cover. They will ask questions and steer you toward a good one for your application. I much prefer a cover that is tailored specifically for the car I am trying to protect. It won't move much and that's a lot better for the paint.

One cloth cover, then a layer of thin plastic, then another cover. This stops the dust from seeping through. Also it's quite a bit of padding for protection from small hits. I've got a bunch of extra covers because they get included with the cars I buy and sell and I keep them.
Found some info on the covers info pages http://zsiusa.com/ is their website. Looks like much of the site is under construction, but it's a company out of LA.
I use the covers for protection indoors (heated Garage, that the Black Labs also live in) and they have wicked tails once in motion!
But I was very impressed with the quality, fit and finish of these covers especially for the price. The Buckle down straps are sewn in and are covered from the elements and work very well in high winds and the covers worked great in the rain on my Dad's El Camino. Again, Very impressed at that price... Great alternative if you need to have the car out over night but don't want to get the expensive cover all wet etc. Or just want an alternative to the hight priced covers if you just need something now and then.
Yes they are the ones available at Costco. If you can't find them Dave, Let me know and I can pick one up for you... maybe I can talk you into coming down for the Monroe swap meet in a couple weeks and we could hook up. I know a few of the guys from Victoria are coming down and a few of the guys from BC...
