Can a automatic console be used with a 4 speed? Or are they 2 different consoles with different cutouts?

Nothing on the market yet for a '68-9 4spd console. I have heard rumors. The '69 dash bezel was rumored to be in the works. It has finally come to market, so all we can do is to wait for the console metal.
