I just bought the 3-piece kit. When I pulled the engine there was only one ground strap from the frame on the passenger side to the firewall. Where do the other 2 ground straps go in the kit?

I need to double check this also... as all mine were/are missing.

Passenger side, rear of the head to the frame (or firewall) (one should go to the frame, and one to the body) One on the Drivers side, (not positive) but I think also the rear of the head to the Firewall (or frame) and I'm not sure on the 3rd one...

I too just ordered ground strap kit and only know of the one on pass. side firewall. I ordered it from ames maybe I will call them. you would think they could put some instructions with kit. Pete

There are no instructions with the kit but I know that ones goes from the passenger side firewall to the passenger side frame (this is the only one that was intact on my car). It mounts right at the point that the frame comes out from under the firewall and it bolts to the inner side of the frame. The other end goes to a bolt going into the firewall directly above the frame. These straps are only about 6"-8" long so there isn't much room to "stretch" them. The kit does come with the mounting hardware.

I also bought one of these kits for my 69. It had three straps in it but I only found two on the car. The two that were previously mentioned. The label on the kit was for 64-67 GTO so I'm not even sure birds had a third strap on them. I thought there might be one on the pass side motor mount to sub-frame but I never found one.
