I went to the store today to get a new pair of u-joints for my 68 vert. I told the guy I had a 4.1L OHC. He said he couldnt tell me which joints I needed. Some had the front and rear the same, some had the front and rear different. I figure I'll bring down the shaft and yoke to fit them up. Anyone else have this problem?

Universals are all the same on 1st gens.

that is what I figured. Must have been a computer snafu.

I have had problems getting correct U-joints. I've found it best to bring the old ones with me to the parts store and match them up at the counter.

See if the type with the zurk are available so you can keep'em greased.
