Just pulled my steering pump, It is leaking where the tank is pressed to the cast. Is this repairable ? Is this part available new, if so where ? Must be steering qustion week. Thanks again.

There's a big o-ring around the cast part that is pressed into the stamped part. Remove the studs and fittings from the back and you should be able to pull it apart.

I think you would be better served by getting a rebuilt new one. I paid 50 bucks with a lifetime guarantee. It is identical to my old one. I believe they have rebuild kits available for around 25 bucks if that's the route you take.

I'm sure you can find the o-ring somewhere. Try www.firstgen.com for starters. Your dealer should be able to get it if no one else can.
