I think this isn´t Gary Plowman´s Bird. As far as I remember his car shows the correct dual exhaust splitters but this ebay car doesn´t... But I can be wrong...

Gary P sold his car to another member, Doug, and I believe it left Michigan. I think it went to Canada?

Yup, that's me. I am just sorry I havn't been able to drive it very much. There is construction on the highway down our road and I will only go out on the weekend when they have it cleaned up a bit.

This 'bird is way up on the UP near Canada. G, if ya get it you could have it brought down by a barge.

Didn't realize it was way the heck up there.

My timing is off by a week or two... My Dad is heading up that way next week. He could have made a side trip to take a look.

What is the difference between Coronado Gold and Signet Gold?

The first word before "Gold"

Coronado Gold was one of the special order colors offered in Spring only. On a GTO it is called Tiger Gold.

Gold in general does not photograph well… But attached is a Signet Gold Bird. Compare to my signature pic.


Signet is darker (brassy) and from the ones I’ve seen in person appear to have less metal flake. I’ve never had the opportunity to see them side by side.

coronado gold is a heavy metallic color that really pops in the sunlight! it looks great when done right! ask bill edmunds how hiw car turned out. his is coronado gold with black accent. my twin if you will but he has a 350/400 car and i have a ohc.
