Gas tank out. Subframe out. Interior out. And the cleaning begins.

That’s cool Robert! Where did you find her?
Am trying to get out your way this spring.

Craigslist awhile back. Figured I needed something to keep myself busy after retiring. I have my hands full but am having fun. Plus I'll get to do some things I've never done before like cut a new trunk pan in and a few other things. So I'll learn a few things in the process. Just wish I had more room. Any time you want to come down I'm usually here...unless I'm gone.

If you think that is rust, you need to visit Minnesota more often.
We call those unmolested, perfect project cars around here! blush

Got a few things to get me started. Going to be a lot more I'm sure but this will keep me busy for awhile.

Looks awesome Firebob. Good luck with your build. If you want to do your own painting for much of the car I can give you some tips. As you have noticed a lot of the guys are painting their cars right out of their garage. We paint at 10psi vrs 60psi back in the eighties. Good paint guns are misers on paint and over spray is easily ventilated. I hope to startup my again this year. Looking for a body man locally that can work in my garage (no way my car leaves my garage).

I'm always in for a good story. I probably will do the paint myself so anything/everything helps. I've never shot metallic so that should be fun(not). After all the body and paint horror stories I'm with you all the way.

Just got the rear end pulled out last night. That was fun trying to figure out how to support things while trying to pull the very pieces you would normally use to hold the back half of the car up.
Ahhh, more scraping and cleaning. Yay!

Oh man, that right rear quarter is a total mess. I think I'll just go aftermarket and try to hang a whole new quarter. Looks like it will take less time and a lot less work( I hope). Just have to make the LA run to get it.
