I took a digital photo of the underside of the tranny with the pan removed and printed it then took off for a friends place. He hooked me up with a friend who runs a tranny shop who said someone prob. rebuilt the tranny and they removed the detent aperatus as they put in a B&M Megashifter so it would not downshift unless you want it to. He said he does it on trannys for people who desire this option. The sending unit has somthing to do with the advance(?) but is not important. I buttoned it back up, put in new tranny fluid and bent new coolant lines. I need to figure out the wiring and I will be ready to break in the motor. Thank you for all the effort you put in for me!
