Got my car back today!!! So far, I like it, I dont have very much to compare it too, cause I have never drove any other cars but mine that are like this. But you are right, it takes a min to get up and go, but them it seem to almost slingshot up to a speed faster after that, best I can descibe it anyway. and its fun to drive that way I think, I wish I could try different cams, like flipping a switch or something though
One thing that I did not notice till after I left my mechanic, is that when I put the car in park (automatic) it does not lock the wheels like it should, I am not used to having to use the parking brake like in a manual trans. This might have something to do with the new torque converter? something hooked up wrong maybe? not sure, I used to never have to worry about this, but even before I took it in, if I was on a steep slope, it would move and I would hear a loud clicking when it was slipping, if that makes any sense.
If you have no programs that will play a .MP4 video, you should grab this, its free and not crapware at all, good video player that plays some formats that windows media player does not VLC Media Player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Sorry I did not take the time to convert the video to something that I know everyone can just play, but its a real pain.
