I've had mine out several times, you need to remove the console if you have one, the lower a/c ducts if present, then the glove box then the radio. Now remove the nut from the back side rh corner of the bezel. Remove the heater / a/c control cables from the heater box. Reach up and unclip or unscrew the speedo cable. Drop the steering column by removing the firewall cover plate and under dash bezel. Removing the steering wheel gives more room to work but it doesn't have to come off. Now you need to reach way up behind the headlight switch and push the release button to get the knob off. Unscrew the headlight switch nut and bezel. A screwdriver will work. Now the bezel will come rearward enough to unplug the wiring harness from the wiper switch, gauges, lighter, and heater control. The whole job is a major pain, and going back in is no easier. Get the headlight switch bezel and nut installed before driving any screws. Make sure that you replace the little plastic inserts that the dash screws go into if they are stripped. Take your time, I needed about a week! I have pictures at home if you need them. DJ
