Tom, A bit of that info is incorrect. The 4 spd on the Sprint option is a Saginaw. PMD used it because of the lower first gear. (3.11 compared to 2.20 for a V8)You can identify the gear ratio on the Sag by counting the rings in the input shaft. 2 rings indicate the 3.11 first gear.
Wachs, You may have a hard time finding a "numbers matching" 69 Sprint/4spd with the correct round bar shifter. There simply was not alot of them made. Even if you did, it would not match your VIN. One could piece one together to look correct with a bit of work. You will also want a floor shift column not mentioned above. You will want to consider your rear axle ratio, as the Sprints came standard with 3.55s.

I think the round stock Hurst shifter is being repoped, but just the lever.
