The night I brought it home, the transmission drained itself in my garage. It seems they left out a bushing that goes between the transmission case and a half shaft. They gave me a Caprice to drive while they worked on it.
At 12,000 miles the dash pad separated from the dash and the rear struts started clunking. GM fixed it.
At 27,000 miles it needed brakes (turn rotors and pads).
Around that time the windshield cracked in the wintertime when driving on a bumpy brick road.
At 28,000 miles the CRANKSHAFT BROKE IN HALF. It snapped at a main bearing journal. The dealer had a shortblock in stock and got the car back to me in two days. They tried to charge me for oil and a filter. I did not pay.
