I am wondering if the guy I bought this car from welded in the trunk pan wrong or if I am missing something. The car is a 69 and came with two new braces. If you fit them up to the new floor that the previous owner intalled it looks like I am at least two inches short for them to reach the back tail panel. Looking at pictures on the internet it looks like the braces are attached to the rear panel and then spot/plug welded to the floor. Am I looking at redoing the floor? I can take some pictures if it helps.
