Carpel tunnel doesn't seem to make much sense to me either with the symptoms happening about the same time in your hands and feet as long as with the other symptoms. Maybe the test results showing up in your hands only is because you do use a computer a lot at work. CTS is relatively common in people who use keyboards over an extended period of time without proper arm/hand posture. From the sounds of your job, it doesn't sound like you are at a regular desk that's setup ergonomically. I think CTS can be caused from the wrong angle of the hand to the arm while typing or the arm having frequent pressure against something such as an edge of a desk. I think the arm/hand braces that people wear for CTS is suppose to help correct the angle and provide support.
