The wiring harness is brand new. I assume it is good. Power up to the stud as demonstrated by spark???

Have you disconnected/reconnected any of the wires at the relay? Perhaps there are 2 that are not connected correctly...? I've done this. One connector is shaped so that it can only be connected in one place. The other 2 are the same, and can be swapped(at least on my '68)(I am refering to the 2 black, and black with pink stripe that connect to the pins on the bottom of the relay).
