I have two neighbors. To the north I have a mother/daughter who are 80/50 ish..Garage in backyard dilapidated..Probably hasn't seen action in 30 years. Yard kept up nice, decent. House value is half of mine and they have an acre of land. To the south, same size property, house built in the 60's, in ground pool.
Rural city setting..nice houses, decent lots.
Here it goes.
My cat lady neighbor has maybe 10-15 feral cats roaming about everywhere. Cats get into my garage piss everywhere. Cats get into my cars, piss everywhere. Cat tore up my $500 Corbin seat on my Harley and....you guessed it, pissed on it. Cats get into my Firebirds, onto my Firebirds, f-ing cat prints all over inside and out.
My neighbor to the south has a decent house...likes to spend his money going to the bar after work every day. trees growing out of his gutters, weeds everywhere, house hasn't been updated in 30 years. Only time something gets done is if someone else does it.
Uses my driveway to cut across and drive on his front lawn. Rude? redneck? ghetto? I take care of my [censored]..He and just about everyone not only cuts across at the beginning, they drive further up onto the concrete and then cut across. Now the first 5 slabs of my concrete are badly cracked and contractor states it is from, yep, you guessed it, uneven or improper loads from driving acrossed it that way. They have also screwed up a concrete block that within it has a drainage pipe..somebody backed over it and tilted it 45 degrees. I am getting sick and tired of having to spend my money because other people F my [censored] up!
On nice days, like today when everyone is home, he/they feel the need to crank up a few chainsaws and totally break the nice evening...then burn all the debris and the smoke and ash is in my house, on my car..etc.
I am just the kind of person who tolerates [censored] I guess. I can't comprehend that people just do not have common courtesy anymore and do not think of others.
This crap is actually sickening..I get bitched at by my south neighbor because I keep my house, lawn, cars clean and presentable. I have snipped back at how lazy he is and how redneck and ghetto (for this neighborhood) he is. I refuse to speak to the mother/daughter anymore because I have lost alot of money from cat damage. I know what my avenues are..say something to both about "my" issues with them, but there may come a time when my Harley guys come over on their loud bikes or if I start tuning my motor.
And just do not want to stir the pot.
I could get the ordinance officer involved with trapping these cats, sure..put up a huge log to restrict access to his front lawn...or I could just say "hey...what the F!"
My job takes alot of my patience and really do not want to deal with either...but I know one day, I will just go off.
