Try loosening everything up, just barely snug. Then have a friend help position it while you tighten it up. I did mine myself but works better with a #2 person or even 3 (just will cost you a few extra cans of beer). If everything else is in alighnment more or less it should work. I did have to put a washer in between one of the lower braces to help mone it over the last 1/8" side to side..
