I have followed the directions I could find in converting my points ignition to HEI. First things first ... it fits and clears the firewall. Now for the wiring? What is this resistance wire I hear so much about and where do I find it? There was a single brown wire from the old dist to the pos on the coil and a single black (?) wire to the neg on the coil. do I re-use either of these? I can run a new pos from the fusebox for the bat terminal on the HEI ... but what do I do with the elusive resistor wire.
