Internal regulator- Why would they connect the two cut wires fro the voltage regulator wiring connector- Is that needed to complete a different circuit non related to the dash lights problem? I'll look closely in the dash lights circuit- the harness is unplugged from the circuit board so it must be one of the other lights that is shorted out.
