You're going to have to unbolt the fenders to slide the sub frame forward (at least at the cowl and door jam). There are two alignment holes next to your forward subframe mounts. I used a socket (forgot which size) to put up in the hole to align the subframe. If your steering wheel is connected you'll also have to loosen that. Is it the engine that's hitting the firewall or are you using HEI and the dizzy is hitting?
