1. What if any stripe would have came originally on a '67 400 (convertible)? The car I'm looking at is repainted with no stripe. But I have a scanned copy of the original dealer sales sheet with code "491". Also hand written on the sales sheet are the various options including "stripe". Per another '67 Firebird's PHS docs the "491" code = "rally stripes" (standard with code "334" [the 326HO]).
2. A couple of days ago I asked whether the hood tach came standard with in dash gauges. The responses were no, either could be ordered separately. Ok. Per this same '67 Firebird PHS docs (not for car in question) code "444" = Rally Gauge Cluster & Hood Mtd. Tach, while code "704" = Tachometer Hood Mounted.
So to me it sounds like the hood tach could be ordered separately, but the gauges always came with the tach. Is this PHS info incorrect?
