1. Perhaps it was a dealer installed pinstripe? I have never seen a 'factory' non-HO car with HO stripes, but back then you could probably get anything you wanted to pay for. I don't have my '67 PHS info in front of me, but on my '68 PHS, line 491 states "delete HO strips, 350 HO only". and "rally stripes - std with 350 HO". So perhaps you could order one that way.
2. I have seen many cars with rally guages but no hood tach. Perhaps it was an option, but I've never seen it. Maybe another fgf mystery. Again, my '68 PHS line 434 shows "hood mounted tach". And line 444 shows "rally gauge cluster". No mention of hood tach.
