I was just going to say to Dave, that he better double check to see where the "White Smoke" is coming from. More often than not in these older muscle cars, you will see a fair amount of white smoke coming out the rear of the car... and while this can be alarming to most who are unfamiliar with this... in most cases, it's actually smoke caused by excessive rapid tire wear.
Usually you will notice this most often as you pull away from a stop light, or if there happens to be another muscle car (or heavily stickered import) in the lane next to you and you are compelled to get away from said offending car... you look back and see a cloud of white smoke... and then notice the "other" car immerging from this cloud.
This is actually quite normal, and usually nothing to worry about unless you also see flashing red lights immerging from this cloud. Then... Houston, we have a Problem!
Just thought I'd make sure this was not the case here... didn't want you chasing down problems if it was a normal condition!
