The car started without problems when I first purchased it, it had a HEI distributor. The original wiring harness was hacked up pretty bad so I replaced it with a reproduction harness from NPD along with putting the MSD system in (6AL box, billet distributor, & MSD coil). I ran the testing procedure from the MSD website showing to short the violet/green wires & watch for a spark from the coil wire...there was spark so the 6AL box is working. I called MSD this evening & the tech guy thinks its the magnetic pickup inside the distributor so their sending a replacement out. Hopefully this does the trick, I'll keep you guys posted.
