I installed the parts and it seems like it is going to work great. I bought the Lokar kickdown cable and bracket combo from Summits. The bracket is for a Camaro and I had to bend it here and there to get it to fit but here is what I came up with. I used a 1' spacer on the back hole of the bracket and now it sits flush with the other side of the kickdown bracket.
One question. On this setup with the large spring on the back of the Kickdown, when it is adjusted to full out will the spring be compressed? Otherwise, it seems that you could adjust it lighter than that. Hard to test it without the car running.
