Thanks for the reminder, Neill. I thought that I had seen both speakers before; should have scanned the manual further (again...). Still hope to see what exactly the housings look, if someone has pictures of an original installation. The cardboard panels I bought from Classic look like cardboard lunch trays with all four of the edges stapled together to make the raised edges; if you were to assume that these parts were only the top mounting surfaces of the housing, one long edge would have to be folded up and the opposite long edge would be folded down to look like figure 15-13. Can't see a simple way to attach them that makes sense and, even though I'll be using new speakers, I'd like it to look as stock as possible.
