Looking at the Hagerty values the 1968 Firebird values are trending up while most of the other classics i checked are flatlining. I have a 66 GTO that Hagerty considers an excellent "3" to be worth around $27,000. IF this Bird was a "3" it would currently be valued at $36k. They currently value and would insure a flawless "concourse 1" example of the 400 ram air at just over $100k. I'm thinking I should restore and enjoy this one till my kid needs college money. I'm not trying to fool myself or anyone else but, Hagerty's valuation on the first generation firebirds is great news to me.
