My bars are going from the axle forward to the front of the rear spring I think "out of memory".
That description smacks of aftermarket (like Lakewood bars). The factory bars had mounting plates welded on the bottom of the axle tube partway between the springs and the center pumpkin and bolted to the inside of the frame rail and studs coming through the rear floor pans via welded in floor reinforcement plates.
