flip the wire the other way up so the big end can go over the pin then the white spring hooks on to the hook part way up. there is a sleeve in the kit that aligns the adjuster bar with the hole in the brake shoe where the orange spring is in the other pic. Never modify any of these parts, if they seem wrong get new ones. Your pic looks like you should have. the right stuff though. Keep up the good work, at this rate you should be driving by sept.
