Thanks all for the replies;
I'm going to stick with the plan and do the TH200-4R. It's a direct bolt-in, some mods to the driveshaft...and I'd be golden.

I have a floor shifter, it's a Hurst floor shifter for the TH400, gated..my wife HATES it (I dont care for it myself).

So, options for that would be great. I'll go check out shiftworks, and the other site. $2000 is my "rough" budget for the trans, so I'm in the ballpark!
