just pray the bolts dont snap off in the firewall, and dont lose the ground strap. i dont know if you need the cowl off or not to disconnect the arm, but if you can get the bolts loose, you might just be able to move it enough to get the valve-cover out without disconnecting the wiper-arm... maybe?
