Qualifying has begun at the Summernationals. Adam Strang has the highest qualified Pontiac Stocker, in his '68 E/S Bird. I can only count 5 stick cars on the entire list of 87 cars. Don't know about the FS cars. It's tuff to be competitive in Stock today, with a stick car, because of the breakout feature of competition. It's just easier to cut consistently good lights, and run consistent ET's with an auto trans.
