Finally getting around to changing coil springs and wondered if anyone ever followed the steps in the service manual? Basically they tell you to remove the stabilizer end link and then jack down the lower control arm by removing the bolts at the frame. I have always separated at ball joints but since all that stuff is new this intrigued me. Anyone ever tried or think its a bad idea? I am going to use an internal spring compressor either way. Thanks in advance for advice.
