There are a bunch of old threads on spring r&r if u came find them. Spring compressors don't work well for a variety of reasons. If you get some good quality 5/8 threaded rod (McMaster Carr grade 5) and two sturdy plates or angle drilled for 5/8, it makes a great compressor. Run it through the upper shock hole and put the plate on the bottom side of the control arm. For easy removal, leave everything assembled, including the shocks, and cut several coils with a grinder (assuming replacing springs)
