I'm trying to replace the broken plastic accelerator rod support but can't seem to get the E-clip off the end. Is there any special tricks to this? Can it be removed without pulling the engine or distributor? There isn't much room to get at it. I have a '69 2bbl 350 manual trans Firebird if that makes a difference.
